God is truly increasing your strength as a mother and your intensity to rely soley upon God...I know it's not easy for you to have Joe gone, I have walked that road many times with Connor in the hospital and Randy not being around. However, I find that in those moments I have to lean on the everlasting arms of the Father even more. There is purpose in the timing of things. What a blessing that Auntie Christine was able to accompany you guys on your little adventure. The strength & encouragment that she was able to bring to you both was, I'm sure, an absolute blessing. Our prayers remain strong for you. Thanks for the specific requests....we will agree with you in all areas. I wanted to mention that when Isabelle goes in for her surgery, I'm assuming it will be in the "Cath Lab" right? Heart cathaters and such....well, we know nurse Amy very well and she was one of Connor's favorite nurses in the ICU. She is FABULOUS!!!! She has now transferred full time to the cath lab and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if you came into contact with her. If you mention us, or Connor, she will remember and I guarantee you won't be disappointed with her care of Isabelle and her friendship to you. I will pray that you get to meet her.
Thanks so much for the update!!!
All our love and prayers,
Lori (and family too)Little Bughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08380708582018740061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24280345.post-31440011402567140822010-01-08T18:59:34.010-08:002010-01-08T18:59:34.010-08:00Amy...Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear that some of the results have come back in a positive light but, from my experience with Alexa at Children's, know that sometimes having no answers is just as difficult. I will continue to pray and know that God has a plan. Keep up your strength my friend.Lisa Meehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08406409530514290271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24280345.post-84402887760782726532010-01-08T18:38:41.614-08:002010-01-08T18:38:41.614-08:00Amy, You are amazing! We like her. :) Now I can pray specifically for Dr. Yung's wisdom too. Will they consider a port or better yet, a Hickman line while they already have her sedated, to make IVs and medication more tolerable?
xoxo Amy, keep up your strangth too.
