I can't forget the Halloweenies...

November is usually a slow news month... I usually have a couple of Thanksgiving pics but that is about it. So I thought I would post a couple of Halloween pics...
Two ninjas and a clown. Is it just me or is it getting harder and harder to come up with costumes?!

Praise where Praise is Due!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love Thanksgiving. So I have been focusing on things, people and places I am thankful for, here is one:
I have said it before and I'm sure I will say it again- this child is a hand full. Through the eyes of a  mom with a special needs child however he is sent straight from God to  brighten Isabelle's days. Daily he does something to enrich her life. I can't tell you how many times I have dropped off the kids at Sunday school, with a sitter, etc. and said "If you don't understand Isabelle, Ethan can help you." He is her voice. He helps her, he teaches her things, he is patient with her, he protects her.  He,  in her eyes is her one true friend. So the fact that in this relationship is one of the select times and places he lets his amazing side shine it is enough for me...

Just the two of us went for a walk down to the green gate in Sudden Valley and it was beautiful. Now I'm sure all these leaves have been blown away, I'm sure happy we got to enjoy them on this awesome day.

I'm
 going to
 miss

Home... Mmmmmmm

Mmmm to be home and not rushing the kids off to school and then me to work. To be able to get up at my leisure, make my own coffee, eat breakfast at my at my own table is feeling like heaven. The kids are on their way home from a trip to Oregon with Sean and I am having one day to do what I want to do... Can you imagine that!? I was going through a stack of old disks and was excited to find these to share with Joe. In my life it is usually a lot easier to look forward than back but I really enjoyed looking at these pictures and remembering the 'good times' Everything with the kids was good. Have you ever experienced missing someone who you used to live with? I remember the kids at each of these stages and I miss them. I keep thinking where did they go?  I love that they are growing into such sweet, mature kids but I sure miss these little bodies. Hhhhmmm, maybe Joe wants a baby, I'll go ask him!!! :)
Thanks for reminiscing with me!

Jack on the porch of our old house....
This is the first picture I had taken of all three, before my photography days, I love it.

Jack at Mount Baker, is he not the cutest! ?

Ethan in his first Halloween costume, in Elizabeth park.

My little sweetheart, pre-puberty! I miss that little girl, she is growing so fast!

These two pre -Jackers, I loved this time! This one taken at Boulevard Park is one of my all time favorites... Love the binkies!

Remember Ethan at the bike park?? Well the crazy look in his eyes never changed!! :)

The first day of kindergarten, I wish I could rewind to that day, just for a couple of hours!

I am beyond lucky...

This man loves my kids. Not because he has to because he married me but because he has taken the time to really know them completely. I thought I would never feel the way I wanted to in my heart again. Like a complete, whole family but honestly I can say I forget they did not come from him. It seems as if we have always been together. He finds their pajamas, he makes their toast, he reads to them, he listens to them, he invests. Joe has definitely earned his title.  Here is to "Daddy"!

Oh and we had a fabulous time at our annual pumpkin carving party with Kyle and Angi

I can't even express my joy over this ever increasing relationship. It took these two a while to bond but I can see the fruit of all their hard work.  And I love it.
