My New Favorite Photo...

This is my new favorite picture for obvious reasons. I love this man not only for his integrity, character and fun and loving personality, but for his ever increasing love for these three little people. It can't be easy from going from a bachelor to the 'new dad' to be to three! I just need to say publicly he is doing an amazing job, full of grace, patience and love. I am blessed.

OuR 1st ThaNksGiving...

It is so strange to be having 'a first' at 35 with three kids but in so many ways we are starting all over with new family traditions. We had a fabulous day celebrating all we are thankful for, each other! We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and some football or coarse... We cooked a yummy dinner, then we ventured out to enjoy a beautiful northwest evening. Ending up at the Gish's for pumpkin pie.... it was pretty much the perfect day! Take a look on Flickr.

We had some turkey... We watched in awe at this gorgeous sunset...

We explored...
We dreamt...
We stopped to smell the roses...
We played...
We wrestled...
We even tried to ice skate on a small patch of ice!
I hope all of you that stop in to see what is new enjoyed the same good fortune in celebrating all you are thankful for with your families! Love, A

ToUch DoWn!!!

Notice Jackers feet are completely off the floor, touchdown!

I love this. This brings me huge joy. I love having our cozy cabin full of Sunday snugly football. Do those two words go together you ask??!!! Yes! To be snuggled up together as a family watching football is called snugly- football and I could not think of a better way to spend a windy, rainy afternoon. To have the house full of the warmth of a family day, to hear the game from the kitchen makes me feel not broken anymore. I love having Joe with us, I love his company, I love all that he adds to our family.
I have had to adopt the concept of 'if you can't beat em', join em' and although I am not entirely leaving the Seahawks behind (or Seachickens, as Joe calls them) I am becoming quite the San Diego Chargers fan as is Jack. He loves to wear Joe's LT jersey! I have to post three pictures of the guys, to show you these two are such buddies, it just warms my heart!! Go San Diego!

Winter Fishing...

Well Joe proved me to be a big lair in Ethan's eyes when he broke the news that fish are hungry all year???!!! "What????" I say. I had him completely convinced that fish only bite the the spring and summer months. That tactic, shall we say, kept me off the hook for standing out the the cold to take the kid fishing. But now the cat is out of the bag when Joe clearly announced that 'duhh... fish are hungry all year!" Great I thought but then I just sat back and said that is your gig not mine and a huge smile came across my face as I realized my life has just got a lot easier with a partner so well suited to the four of us and our needs! So with Joy and snacks Joe took us all out for some WINTER FISHING. Ummmm come to think of it we did not catch a single fish so maybe I was right after-all.... fish don't bite in the winter! I'm sure they will prove me wrong.

This little girl... she is something else!

Cheetoes..anyone? She's into fishing, if not just for the snacks!

HaPpY HaLloWeEn!!!

Okay... who cries on Halloween.... Apparently me! When Jack put on his football uniform huge tears welled up in my eyes. I got a vivid glimpse of him at sixteen. EE went camo and in typical fashion Bellie was a pink princess! Fairhaven trick -o- treating proved to be quite the candy haul. Because Halloween fell on a Wednesday the kids were off to their dads for dinner at 5:00 so Joe and I had a great dinner date at Osaka. Happy Halloween!
Jack and his best friend form Kindergarten.... Lizzy. Jack asked her at school if she could be 'his cheerleader' Aahhhh so cute!
The kids with Jack's friend Maddie!

This dog was in the doorway at Wimsey, pretty stylish!
