Back to Fantasy life for a second....

I forgot to blog Disneyland!!!! (aka) The day I cried all day... This was two days after our wedding and we got to go to Disneyland with my mom and dad my sister and my nephew Joseph. I was so happy I didn't know what to do with myself. I kept looking around and thinking wow, we are a family. We had the best time with my parents, everything from the over priced food to the magical parade was perfect! For us it really may have been the happiest place on earth!!! For the Disneyland slideshow... click here.

The Disney parade was seriously amazing, we all loved it!

This moment even got 'new dad' all choked up... Isabelle was so in the moment she was signing 'I love you' to all the princesses. It was so adorable!

Alice in Wonderland... if you know isabelle you know she has probably watched this movie 1000 times, the look on her face when we saw the teacups was the best!

My mom and my nephew Joseph.
Smiling for Grandpa!

Our first family picture, notice I'm a little rough around the edges, that's what a day of happy crying will do to you!!!

Amy in Real Life... Part 4

See? Life really did continue on... Jack celebrated the end of his first soccer season with a bang, well actually...junk food. I am so proud of his accomplishments. Many thanks to Coach Charlene for her loving instruction all season. I had forgotten how fun it was to watch kindergarten soccer! As 'mom in charge of cupcakes' I did the unthinkable... ordered them from the grocery store! Why hadn't I done this years ago? The freedom was liberating.

Mother's Day...

Look what I got...

A delicious breakfast... beautiful orange roses,

and a MAN in my kitchen cleaning up and giving me "wife" cards! It was last mothers day  that Joe and I had just started to email each other. Wow we have come along way baby!

The Fishing Derby...

We returned to a rainy Belligham after our trip late on a Thursday afternoon. Remarkably we got the kids to school on Friday. Ethan and Joe kicked off the weekend by entering AND winning the sudden valley fishing derby. I know I have said it before but I must say it again. I thought Joe was perfect for me, and all that I was looking for. But to the extent and long list of reasons he is the perfect dad for the kids is beyond my understanding! God really did an amazing job in bringing the kids a man who understands their interests! 10 Fish! They caught ten trout out of Lake Louise and dominated the fishing success! Not a bad way to start off the new father and son bonding time!

Amy in Real Life...

So friends I have missed you. I am going to be starting a new blog series called 'Amy in Real Life'...  Despite my efforts to stay permanently in my mind, body and soul in California with my new husband, life did continue on... To say I am happy with my life would be a huge understatement. We have settled into married life with a comforting bliss. As I write this minute, my cute husband left to take Ethan baseball shopping (for an athletic cup mind you) and then a trip to the batting cages. The feeling of completeness is all around. I love having a spouse to complete our family, a strong male to lead up the charges is a wonderful blessing! So this afternoon I am left with Jack and Isabelle tucked in front of a movie. What? I actually have time to sit and catch up on one of my favorite activities, working on my blog! I don't know if it is the sense of staying connected with friends or the feeling of keeping an activities dairy that feels fun. There is definitely something about keeping a blog is satisfying and I have missed it. So here I go, I'll catch you up. Now that the wedding and reception (which was wonderful, I will get to sharing about this great day latter)  are over it really is time for fun and games and I am enjoying every minute!

Our Honeymoon...

You fine people are going to be sick and tired of hearing about our trip!!! Thanks for enduring yet another post. :) I seriously had the time of my life so still, three weeks latter, I am hating living in reality with work and school and work and school. I loved every minute of this trip including the day after our wedding. Joe planned for us to rent beach cruiser bikes and go from mission beach over to La Jolla Cove. And he was not messing around either! It was over ten miles there and back to the bike shop. The sights were stunning, I can't get over the beauty! After waking at the beautiful hotel, sitting in the hot tub, eating three wonderful meals alone, cruising around on our bikes and watching the most beautiful sunset it was time to go check in with the kids. We had the most wonderful day, I'm going to let my mind just stay there a little while longer! :) Click here to see more of the charming sights...
P.S. with all the cold and rain here... I'm afraid California is calling our name. Come on Sunshine and heat, shine, keep my husband content in Bellingham!

I hope this helps...

For those of you not able to view the slide show I have put the pictures on line in another format. The slide show took up a lot of memory and if your computer does not have enough free space I think the slide show was hard to view. This link will take you to my on line gallery of photos. You can select 'our wedding' under the albums category. Then at the bottom of the screen you can choose Carousel or Slideshow to view the photos.  The only thing you will be missing is the sappy music!
Let's see if this works better..... :)  Wedding Pictures.

Our Wedding Day!!!!

Okay.... I have a personality defect in that I could not choose which one's to take out so the slide show was not so long... So pop some popcorn if you must and sit back and take a look. It really was a blessed, God inspired day!!!! Love to you!

If you have 6 minutes and 56 seconds...

I made a little slide show of the days leading up to the wedding. I can't wait any longer for the photographers pictures so I am going to construct a slide show of the wedding ceremony with the pictures I have so far... I will post that soon. My dad did not do a bad job, actually he did quite good.  I offer a huge apology for anyone who has ever waited for pictures from me.... I HATE waiting for mine!

So take a look, I feel like I actually experienced paradise in the things we did and the sights we saw... I'm sure the company I was with didn't hurt either. If only we could of stayed there forever.
